  H.264 high profile support in QT X?

  I’ve been trying to find an answer to this question, but no amount of googling seems to be of any help, so I thought I’d turn to the experts.

  As I understand it, QT7.2, at least, had some partial support for H.264 High Profile, but incomplete enough to make displaying HP videos hit-and-miss, depending on what HP features were used in the encoding process.

  Since QuickTime X is a major rewrite, does anyone have VERIFIED (back up with sources, if possible) information regarding its High Profile capabilities? I’d be extremely disappointed if Apple has missed this opportunity to add it to QT.
