Just tried exporting, from the timeline, to H264 – all very nice except the chroma is very thin? I normally use Cleaner for QuickTime with no significant change in chroma or contrast, so why do I get a thin look from the media 100 direct export?

Could be a case of dueling color spaces. What is the codec of the media you are exporting?

I have just noticed there’s a Colorsync tab in the QT exporter. Mine was defaulting to Current monitor for both source & destination profiles. Should I set these to PAL/SECAM, Apple RGB or what?

Have you tried exporting using the Computer 0-255 Color range?

Yes. Better gamma, but saturation still down. Should I play with the Colorsync profiles in the QT exporter?
