I’m doing some small editing jobs were the media has been sent and is QT MPEG-4 1280×720 and the compressor setting ( in FCP timeline options) is set to H.264.

When the compressor settings are H.264 why does the availability of ‘dynamic’ in FCP timeline options go?

    Thanks

H.264 is not an editing codec. Gotta convert to ProRes.

Yes I know its not an editing codec I think the client is only using it because he want to keep file sizes down when transferring media (via Dropbox) He has mentioned that wehn he has tried ProRes LT it looks terrible.
