September 24, 2013 at 7:54 pmI just have an HD .mov with closed captions.. I just need to extract the CC to an SCC file or something I can convert to an .SCC
I cannot figure this out in quicktime pro
I can see the CC in the properties, hit extract, opens a new movie, I can save that as a new name but it is still a .mov..Any help would rock

September 25, 2015 at 8:02 pmDid anyone ever answer this question? I’m having the same issue. I have a prores close caption .mov and need to make a .mp4 (h264) with embedded closed caption. I extracted the closed caption file and added it to my mp4 file but when I go to save it, it forces a self-contained quicktime. Any ideas?
Thanks!
