h.264 Baseline Profile Export
Hi everyone,
I’ve been through the file type debate with a lot of projects, but a client is asking for an baseline h.264 profile, rather than the main profile, for a rough cut upload. I understand the difference between the two, but I can’t seem to figure out how (and if) to export a baseline profile directly out of Avid. Do I need to go to Squeeze?

If not AMA linked we export a QT ref to Sorenson – there you can change Baseline/Main/High on H.264-MP4

You could download the x264 encoder for quicktime, which will give you that sort of control, although it`s a bit technical.
