  H.264 and windows problem

  Ok, here is the problem… hopefully someone can help. So every time I try to encode a .mov with h.264, or Sorenson for that matter, when I play it all I get is a green (or sometimes orange) scrambled mess.

  I have tried re-installing quicktime many times over again but to no avail.

  Is quicktime for windows able to play h.264 encoded videos? Is it just my computer that needs reformatting (I hope not)?

  I know it is not AE that is the problem because I have been able to play videos fine on his mac?

  All answers are greatly appreciated.
