  H-drive space varies

  Hi guys, so this (details below) is the problem. My H drive space disappears/drops and comes back and disappears again, perhaps it happened as i’m working on a large canvas size and something funny happened with my temp files it eat up my last 20gb of free HD space, but it goes and comes back…?

  What would be the best way to work with larges images, mind you i only have access to my mac(laptop)

  I had about 20g of space (on my macBookpro 8g Ram)

  On a large document (125cm by 200cm) i did a simple background cutout of a character

  wanted to fill a blank layer but error message came up (same messages when i tried to save):
  ‘scratch disk is full’. My HD space suddenly dropped from 20gb to 1.4gb

  based on the internet i ‘purged’ i think this cleared the temp files this
  restored 10gb…went to 4gb when i tried working and now that i’ve stopped it’s gone up to 16gb. this computer witchcraft if beyond me.
