H 264 Guide
I have always done most of my web video using FLV as my output format. I now find that some clients are requesting H 264. Does anyone know of a good guide to working working with this format.
I’m not looking for “best settings” I’ll figure that out for myself. I just need a starting point. I am “Googled Out” and haven’t been able to find any worthwhile resources on “The Cow”.TX

There are good general discussions in this H.264 Primer and Ben Waggoner’s book. User guides for Compressor and Adobe Media Encoder provide more product-specific information. It is also helpful to reference similar codecs such as VC-1 and MPEG-2.

Jan Ozer’s book focuses on H.264 and is easy to understand even for a beginner yet still beneficial for more advanced compresionists.
