I have always done most of my web video using FLV as my output format. I now find that some clients are requesting H 264. Does anyone know of a good guide to working working with this format.
I’m not looking for “best settings” I’ll figure that out for myself. I just need a starting point. I am “Googled Out” and haven’t been able to find any worthwhile resources on “The Cow”.

Jan Ozer has a write up over at Streaming Learning Center titled What is H.264…not sure this is what you’re looking for but seems like a good place to start.

Jan Ozer’s book focuses on H.264 and is easy to understand even for a beginner yet still beneficial for more advanced compresionists.
