GV-D1000 device – capture problems
I just bought the Xpress Academic version. I’ve been testing the batch capture with my Sony DV deck. The deck is recognized as a generic dv-ntsc device as there is no list for the GV-D1000. I can control the deck fine, set in/out no problem, log clip. Go to batch and the deck will cue up record for several seconds then it skips the clip and goes on to the next one. It has never gone beyond 15 seconds recording without skiping the clip. Any suggestions would be great!

Give Basic DV Device a try. If you check the Avid main website you’ll find a list of supported devices and any setting required to make it function correctly.
We occasionally get the same thing with a Sony DSR-45P. Restarting the application always brings capture back to life.
