    In the article, “Acheiving a Rock Solid Final Cut Pro System” in the new Creative Cow Magazine, the author begins writing about how “you’ll get more realtime playback of multiple streams of video if you can…….,” on page 30 (second paragraph in). What is meant by “streams of video?” I’m constantly reading about them and can’t seem to settle on a solid definition.

    A stream of video is what’s recquired to display one full frame of video. So… if you have a picture in picture effect, you’ll need TWO streams of video to accomplish it. The more streams, the more bandwidth you need.
