  • Growing text, like tree branches…

    Hi,

    Does anyone know of any tutorials i could look at that make give me this effect, what i was wanting to do for my opening scene of a scary short film in the wood;

    was to have text grow out of nothing and twist out to form words, but as if it was a growing tree?

    Thanks

    Text layers with paths attached to them. should be simpole, though a bit tedious. Good luck.

    Hi.

    I’d recommend Jayse Hansen’s brilliant tutorial ‘Making Elements Grow’ here at CreativeCow:

    That Jayse tutorial is fantastic. It’s really not a very difficult effect once you start understanding the basic principals behind it. The “Pan Behind” tool is a life saver for SO many reasons…

    [Henry199] “Thanks everyone. Will give it ago today. Bless creative cow.”

    And as my little pal Tiny Tim, says: “And God bless us all, everyone!” — even Ole Bessie in the upper left.

    …and special blessings on the dogs for putting up with everyone and everything else — especially the cats.

    Yer pal,
