  • Grow bounds when using Element 3d?

    Hi folks,

    I’m using Element 3d v2 with AE CS6 and I’ve come across a problem.

I’ve got a text bevel which uses 4 different bevels and I want to scale the whole piece of text down. If I use the world transform, it ruins the proportions of the individual bevels. If I scale the layer, the text gets clipped as I fly it in.
I’ve tried grow bounds and RGS grow bounds, but they don’t seem to work in this case. Also I’ve tried collapse transforms, which also doesn’t work.

Anyone got any ideas or do I just need to do the leg work and relay all my text?

    Cheers,

    Moog

Even that didn’t work Dave. It seems to work independently of the scale of the text.
I ended up just dealing with each part by hand. ugh – very long winded!
    Cheers though,
