    Hey,

I’m new to Avid from FCP and I just need to know how to group a multicam shoot and then to group that with the Recorded audio. So, in FCP, Merginging clips.

Sorry for the n00b post but I have been searching all over for the Media Composer Manual and can’t find it. You have to pay for it on the Avid website.

    Thanks
    Will

This page is a great resource for multigrouping.

And as far as merging audio to video, autosync is your friend. Either by TC or In point.

Grouping will also include audio if you want to do everything in one pass – multiple picture/audio and separate audio. You can always AutoSync first as v5 gives you more flexibility with track management then group the results.
