  • Group slices into table – tables keep collapsing in Dreamweaver…

I’ve got my page all slice up – then I group my slices into a table – then saved optimized as (HTML and images)

When I open the HTML document in Dreamweaver, and I remove one image from the table, the whole table collapses. What I’m trying to do is just set the content of one cell to a background image, but as soon as I remove it before I can set it as the background image of that cell, the whole table collapses.

Any advice? I used to never have this problem.

    Thanks.

if the width is not set for the cell, add it to the cell tag, td width=””, or give it an id and set the width in a style sheet. You might also try adding a 1×1 transparent gif image to the cell and setting the width of the image to the width you want for the cell.
