I’m sure this is a stupid problem, but I just can’t fix it…

I’ve imported an uncompressed quicktime file into AE and completed all the required vfx. Then when I export, not matter WHAT format or compression options I use, theres this slight grey wash over the footage… I tried importing the source footage as other file types too, and still no luck =(
    Any ideas?

    Thanks heaps!

Haven’t had this happen b4. Perhaps you have some color adjustments going on that you forgot about. Try dropping an Adjustment Layer at the top of the stack and apply a colour adjustment tool to remove the unwanted effect.

At the bottom of the project window…make sure you are set to 8bpc. If you are at 16 or 32 your color effects may be too much.
