    The footage isn’t offline, but you see it mostly with precomps that have been shrunk and the tail or head doesn’t exist so that part is shaded with the gray lines.

    Did you try and import from a FCP project or an EDL? If that had timecode markers with the added hour as is sometimes normal, your in and out points may be far shifted in each clip beyond where actual footage is.

    Yes it was a FCP .XML import. The footage is from an HVX200. There is also T3i footage in there that does work that does not have the grey lines. It looks like the clip length is correct it just is off on what part of the clip shows… Is there anyway to correct this? I already tried adjusting the time code by subtracting an hour but to no avail.

    Also if I preview the file in the preview monitor I can see it. If I drag the same clip to the timeline it has lines and goes black on the project monitor. But if I reimport the the same clip and put it to the timeline it does work. Even the HVX200 footage.
