I finally figured out what was causing the green slug and black in my timelines. After trying a number of things like trashing my prefs, I found two files in the constant frames folder which is located in your render files folder that were not the normal quicktime files, once I deleted these files the green went away and has not come back. I would try this as deleting the prefs is not a permant fix for this problem.

Okay, I found them I think.

On my system they are as follows:

    CF-dvh5appl-1440×1080-102324-3 — definitely has a green corruption

CF-dvc appl-720×480-102330-3 — not green, but appears to be corrupt

They came up as document files. All the other ones had the QT icon.

Odd, on my system there the two files I mentioned above are both QT files, however they appear to be corrupted video. I put them in the Trash temporarily. I wonder what’s going to happen now??? FCP did not regenerate them when I opened it up again.
