March 18, 2009 at 10:36 pmThanks Jeremy.
And just in case you (or anyone else reading this) has to use Lectora (or any other program like it)…it turns out there are three snags:
1 – you have to set a parameter for the transparency because (as you said) it does not understand what it has
2 – you can’t see the footage of a swf until after you publish the file (so basically you have to keep publishing the darn thing until it works right, which makes aligning your transparent swf with the background image on screen a pain…personally I’d rather do the whole thing in FCP or Flash, but that’s not the way corporate America works…)
3 – before you publish it, you have to add your flv file to the piece you are building (which I did, but…) and after it publishes you have to move it into the image folder from whatever folder it put it in, which will of course not be the image folderSo there you have it. Thanks for getting me on the right path.
Best,
