green screen. Canon XL1, BetaSP camera, and a DV/miniDV panasonic deck
Hello all! Is there a difference between the greenscreen keyer in premiere pro 1.5 and 2.0? Is it worth the upgrade? I need to do a green screen shoot and have a Canon XL1, BetaSP camera, and a DV/miniDV panasonic deck. Will I see a quality difference if I shoot with the BetaSP and use that as the input into the dv deck and capture that via premiere, via live recording from the beta tape and not writing to minidv tape? Should I use the DV-NTSC project preset, in premiere, or, should I create a custom one?

I am not sure what the compression difference is between DV and BetaSP, but over all PRemiere Pro’s keyer is less than adequate. Would you happen to have After Effects?
