OK I got some green screen, I got three lights (500wts each and I have a Panasonic 3CCD consumer camera ($900) and I have some footage that is very close to being good. But I still have some green fringe. I have used the Softening on the Chroma Keyer fliter and it still has some green. Too much softening does no good. So here is my question what is the way to get good clean edges in FCP Pro 5 with the above stuff.

Try adding Spill Suppressor – Green after the Chroma Keyer, and then adding Matte Choker after the Spill Suppressor.

    All the best,

Graemes Chroma smoothing filter might help too.

DV Matte pro is also a product worth lokking into.

G Chroma Sharpen in Film Effects can help a lot, as can the Alpha Expander in Set 1, which, to me, works a lot better than the matte choker.

But the key for a good key, is lighting!!

All the Nattress plugins are awesome. Very high quality for a great price. Give them a go.

Keep up the good work, Graeme!

Are you still taking suggestions for new filters?
