If I can shoot something in DVCPro50 (with an AJ-D90P back), but only get a composite signal out, am I better off to shoot with a consumer HDV and ingest it via firewire?

I guess another way to pose the question is will I keep a
    4:2:2 signal coming in composite?

    Thanks for your input.

Avoid composite. Shooting HDV will be fine, as you can key in HD, and then downsample to SD, which will make any keying errors 1/4 of their size.
