Hi, I have a clip that I needed to speed up so I did a ‘Fit to Fill’ and FCP adjusted the clip fine with a ‘green render bar’ and everything looks great! When I render the sequence my footage looks like garbage bouncing back and forth from clear to a slight blurriness to it… sort of pulsing back and forth.

The sequence and footage match (DVCPro50) so I’m not sure what’s up.

    Thanks for your help.

    Try to pick these specific speeds: 25%, 33%, 50%, 66%, 75% etc.

Weird Fit to Fill speeds are going to have odd problems with frame blending.

Or run it through Motion and set the Retiming to Optical flow. That will definitely be smooth.

    Best,
