    Hi!
Haven’t found a suitable forum for this question. Hope you can help me.
Many times I encounter the same problem – white light from videoprojector lamp, when reflected from black surface, becomes green! But only from specific angle. If I move 30 degrees right or left, reflection becomes white again.
This is disturbing my brain. What can I do again this green light? WHY is it green?

Is the black screen really black? And why is it black? I suspect this is a polarization effect. Also, white is relative and depends on the white balance you set.

I mean any light color close to bright white, reflecting from black surface (plastic, dark glass, chair varnish) becomes green.
