I use FCP on a Quad 2.5ghz G5 with 8GB RAM, Geforce 6600, and a 23″ Apple Cinema Display. I recently upgraded to the new FCP and OS 10.4.6. Now, I see green and/or red pixel anomalies in my FCP monitors sometimes where black meets another color. Interestingly, I also see these pixels on my desktop background, which leads me to believe it is not a FCP issue, maybe an OS issue. Does anyone else have this problem and/or know a solution? Because Apple apparently doesn’t. These pixels appear randomly, they are not dead pixels. I also have an identical editing system and the same thing happened on that monitor after the upgrade. I have seen some forums where people have exchanged their monitors and the problem went away, but these monitors were fine pre-upgrade. Thanks.
