    I’m on a PowerBook G4 using FCP 5.1.2 My canvas is showing green, (instead of black), in places in the timeline where there are no clips.

    Any clue why this is happening and what I can do to fix it?

    Is your output set to 10 bit when it shouldn’t be?

    No, I don’t think so, but thanks for responding. It has seemed to fix itself now. It happened for about an hour yesterday, and it hasn’t occured since. Very strange…
