I am having this weird issue where whenever I change any parameter under the motion tab, the entire clip either gets a very green tint, or all I see is black with green bars that appear on the side with some distorted video in it. I am running a brand new Mac Pro, FCP 5.1.2 and the footage is in 10-bit uncompressed, we just moved from Blackmagic 10-bit Uncompressed and there is no Blackmagic card in the system. This issue has been around since day one for this system.

Trash your preferences. You said that you don’t have a blackmagic card in there anymore? Do you have nay kind of capture card? Have you uninstalled any old drivers?

No capture card was ever in the system, we are using a direct attached Xserve RAID, I don’t think there would be any old drivers, but I’ll check.

Hmm, that’s curious. I have seen that before but I swear I can’t remember how I fixed it. Let me do a quick search and see what I come up with.
