First time post
1) I would like to crop out a person and add them to another background. How can this be done?
2) I would like to add a rectangle shape to the bottom of my film, have a animated logo and then have the text change per area of the film. I assume you’d just bring in the rectangle image, somehow create the animation within Vegas, and then add text based on timeline for each section?

On the crop out and add different background….I’m extremely new to all this…but the only way I’ve figured out to cut out someone to add them to a different background (I assume your talking about some one in a video) is to go to “event pan/crop” and using the “anchor tool” on every single frame.
Theres a tutorial on youtube about how to create light sabers using only sony vegas. I used this same idea to do what your talking about. I figured out how to do it…but haven’t fully done it yet. I’ve only done a few frames. Just search “light sabers with sony vegas” in youtube and you should be able to find it.
