We upgraded from FCP 5.0.1 to FCP 5.0.4 recently. Since then, rendering in sequences has been messed-up. I can no longer copy rendered material in a sequence and paste in another sequence without losing the rendered material. Plus, when I render a timeline with graphics, strange artifacts appear on the screen, mostly green pixels. We uninstalled 5.0.4 and reinstalled 5.0.1 but I am still having the same problem. it’s driving me nuts! Any idea what this may be?
    Thanks

You can try upgrading Quicktime – just a thought.

Have you tried changing the Motion Filtering Quality to Fastest (linear) and re-rendering?

ctrl-click on the sequence, go to video processing, change Motion Filtering Quality from Normal to Fastest (linear).
