Great new filter a real time and frustration saver
This is not an ad nor do I have anything to do with this company, but I just installed CrumplePop’s new filter EchoRemover and I have to say it worked like a charm. As you all know, echo recored in a loud room is impossible to get rid of and I can’t tell you how much time I spent in FCPx and soundtrack to make it sound better but to no avail This filter does in in one application, but you can tweak it if need be.
For an intro price of $49, this is a real time saver for me.

Ditto for me. I just picked it up and it worked great on a presentation where we couldn’t get a mic on the talent. It really cut down on the reverb from the room.

Yep:) I bought their previous plugin Audio Denoise. It helped me with a few projects. When they released this, bought it immediately. Saved the audio on my last project. Am sure isotope RX5 can do a lot more, but for the price and ease of use, these plugins rock:)

I’m getting better results with AudioDenoise than IZotope RX 4. It’s less artifacty and you can push it further.

I have footage where we couldn’t stop the noise coming through the hvac vents even when we turned off the thermostats. Kind of a fan hum airstream. The audio is all dialog. I don’t want to hide the b.g. noise with a music soundtrack . Does this plug in work good for that type problem?

No, this plug-in is specifically for removing reverb. What you want is noise reduction. Something like SoundSoap 5 or iZotope RX Plug-in Pack would be better for dealing with dialog background noise cleanup.

There is a free trial version so you can try it out and see if it does the job.
