Great Book For AE CS5
I knew 6.5 AE very well but for teaching spent much time in motion. I seem to be a book guy so if anyone has a recommendation for CS5 AE, please send it along – I thought the apple trainers books for fcp were pretty good. I’m open to places like VTC, but be “darned” if I’ll listen to some condescending voice only anger me rather than teach.

Here are two of the best titles on After Effects in print, Creating Motion Graphics by Chris and Trish Meyers and After Effects CS5, Visual Effects and Compositing Studio Techniques.

I agree with Brian. If you want a book, then Chris & Trish’s book is #1. Mark’s book goes into advanced techniques and so makes a good second book to read.
