Hi, I’m working with a Pro Res 4444 sequence that is anamorphic, 2880×2160. I’m trying to figure out how to create graphics accordingly. Premier is currently stretching my existing footage, do I need to do the same to prep graphics? If so, what are the specific specs I should be building the graphics at?

    Thanks for any feedback!

    Dan

I guess it depends on how the graphics will be integrated, and whether they need to have room to move. Are you doing the editing yourself?

I would probably make the graphics the same pixel dimensions as the footage and use the same pixel aspect ratio in Photoshop, which can be picked in the new document dialog.

Other options undoubtedly exist, such as making the graphics significantly larger and scaling them down as needed in Premiere. Which might be a good idea if you don’t have a locked-down final size for the graphics: you won’t have to redo them if they’re needed larger for some reason.
