    Hi,
Quick question, does anybody have any suggestions on graphics software that works great with Sony Vegas Pro 11?
My problem is that the graphics I create within SVP 11, look amateur. I want to know if anyone had any suggestion? Also, does anybody think it is worth it to upgrade to SVP11? SVP 10 is good, but I just wanted another opinion. I’m trying to decide if I should spend the money or not?
    Thanks,
    K.Price

If you are looking for a graphic application that works within Vegas, i suggest that you have a look at Boris RED.

And if yodon’t know any reason yet to upgrade to Vegas 11, just don’t do it. With Boris RED you can do everything you can do with the New Blue titler you get for free with Vegas Pro 11, and much much much more.

I agree with Theo, Boris RED will add an incredible amount of graphic capabilities to Vegas Pro. Check out the tutorials and webinars on the BorisFX.com web site to see what it can do.

I prefer by far Boris Continuum Complete over Boris Red.
It just sits well within Vegas without having to open up
    another interface.

I like BCC too and BCC is great depending on what you want to do. But there is something to be aware of.

If you have multiple tracks of 3D you’ll need RED because BCC can only work on one track at a time. For example, you can’t have a sphere with text rotating around it because with BCC the sphere would be on one 2D track and the rotating text would be on another 2D track and one would always be in front of the other. With RED, you can drop them both into a 3D container and have true 3D graphics with the text going behind and in front of the sphere. Likewise they can cast shadows on each other in RED which you cannot to with BCC.

This is an important distinction between RED and BCC that someone who is asking for a “graphics” software should be aware of.

Yes, RED 5 works in 64-bit Vegas Pro 10.0 or 11.0. Watch my webinar to see RED working in Vegas Pro 10.0 64-bit.
