Graphics card – supported AO rendering
I’m in the process of updating my workstation and looking at different graphics cards. I’ve been pretty pleased with my current card – <font face=”inherit”>Nvidia Quadro P4000 – 8 GB for most AE work but have ran into issue when rendering Ambient </font>Occlusion<font face=”inherit”> with Element 3D. It is listed as a supported card on the Video Copilot site, but when I pull up my Nvidia control panel, I can see the ambient </font>occlusion<font face=”inherit”> rendering is not supported in After Effects. </font>
<font face=”inherit”>Any suggestions on a better card that will support Element 3D AO rendering in AE? Element 3D is a small but significant area of my work, and I really would </font>benefit<font face=”inherit”> from having a dependable solution. </font>
