  • Graphics Card Suggestion for Premiere Editing System

I have just finished building a new PC to use with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects – the only I need to sort out is a Graphics Card.

The spec is dual Xeon 2.8GHZ, 2GB Ram, 3x120GB SATA Discs in RAID for system, 2x250GB SATA2 Discs in RAID for Data, External Analogue-Digital Convertor for previewing on a TV via firewire, Pioneer DVD110 DVD Burner.

Could somebody suggest the best graphics card to put in this system, I need something that will drive 2 analogue (NO DVI) displays at a fairly high resolution in independent mode so I can stretch my work area across 2 screens????

    Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Sorry, I forgot to mention that the motherboard takes AGP Graphics Cards.

    Thanks

Why use 3×120 in a raid for system? 1 disk is more than sufficient, use the other 2 for a second Raid for scratch disks/previews.

What mobo do you use. PCI-e, AGP, PCIx?

For graphics I would look at something like an nVidia 7800 GS for around $ 260.
