Graphics card recommendations
I’ve decided to get a new graphics card to replace the RadeonX1900 that I currently have in my Mac, because I’ve had some issues using Cinema with it. I’m running R12. I know almost nothing about graphics cards, so I’m asking the experts for recommendations. What would be a good, new and powerful card for me to get to work in Cinema? I also do a lot of graphics work in Illustrator and Photoshop, so I need versatility in the card also.
I’m running Snow Leopard on a Mac Pro tower, 2 2.66 GHz Dual-Core Intel Xenon processors, 8 gigs of RAM.

My recommendation would be to get one of the newer nVidia gaming cards (not the Quadro which is pricey and doesn’t perform better in Cinema). The ATI/Radeon cards can be faster for the same price but as a general rule nVidia provides more trouble-free drivers. OTOH, I know some people use ATI cards with no problems.
