Graphics Card for 1st gen Mac Pro?
Im looking for a good video card for my MacPro (first gen) Currently I have 10.5.8 osx, Geforce 8800, and 10gb.
I shoot only with DSLR cameras(5dmk2). I do a lot of green screen. I want to use magic bullet for color corrrecting.
Which is the best card for me to get? I have AE CS5 as well.
Looks like my options are GTX285, ATI 3870, and ATI 4870.
I do not want to go over $700.Thanks.

For Premiere CS5 i would choose the 285 then you will have all the benefits of the Mercury Playback Engine.

Thanks. Do you think I need to upgrade to snow leopard?
Would 16gb give me any significant changes over my current 10gb of memory?

Yes you need Snow leopard and the 285 for hardware accelerated Mercury Playback Engine.
And download the cudadriver_3.0.14
