    Graphics Card Advice

    Hi,

    I am updating my version of PP from 2015 to 2020 and I am also building a new custom PC. The cpu is a 9600 i7 with 32 gb of ram. The PC will be the main machine in Control Room #1 in my recording studio and along with its audio duties it will be tasked with editing a video podcast and maybe a few live music videos every month. I am looking for recommendations for an nvidia card to help speed up rendering. I will be shooting in 4k and reducing to 1080 x 1920 during editing. I haven’t had much luck with AMD cards and my audio drivers so I stay away from them. There is also a possibility I will be doing bits and pieces in After Effects also. I will also consider 2nd card recommendations.

    I would go with a new RTX. But finding graphics cards right now will be difficult. There is a shortage on the market. Unless you’re willing to spend 2-4k, those are still available. :/
