  Graphics card activation?

  Hi, cow-ites.

  I’ve got a strange question…
  For Resolve I’ve got a GUI card (GT120) & GPU card (GTX 580) running, with my two monitors only attached to the GUI card. Now, Smoke 2013 runs OpenCL & wants to run the main monitor directly from the GTX580. If I attach a DVI cable to the GPU & run it to my 2nd DVI input of my monitor, but keep the monitor set to my 1st DVI input when running Resolve, will that cause the GPU to waste power thinking its got a monitor to run? My plan would be to use Input 1 when running Resolve & Input 2 for Smoke.
