I was playing around with Graph Editor the other day and I did something to make a path (I was moving a lens flare across the screen) show up in the window, and not just in the graph.

From there, I could manipulate it easily and it was more intuitive than the Graph Editor.

Here’s the thing, I don’t know how I did it and I can’t seem to do it again. The manual has been no help.

    Any ideas?

Thanks, and thank you for giving me a good search string. Knowing what to look for is half the battle.

    To clarify some:

The Graph Editor in the timeline is for editing temporal interpolation (how quickly or slowly the values change from one to another) and the motion path in the composition window is for editing spatial interpolation (how the values change through space from one to another).
