    Hi,

I’m trying to figure out how people create these grainy edge textures in there animations/graphics. I have been looking for weeks to learn this technique. Any help or leads on how to do it would be great. Below are examples:

https://vimeo.com/189919038 (I know this incorporates 3D is there a way to do it 2D?)

    https://vimeo.com/143319159

Any leads on stylizing would be amazing..

    Thanks!!

if you wanted to be selective on the noise, roughen edges can create a noisy edge effect… crank up the border and decrease the scale. selecting ‘photo copy’ as the edge the inverts the effect.
