Grain plates with Premiere Pro CS3
Hi there!
I need some help.As far as I know if you want to use grain plates like the ones by rgrain or gorillagrain when editing you have to use (at least in Premiere Pro CS5) the option “overlay” as a blending mode when changing the opacity of the grainy footage.
However, Premiere Pro CS3 has no such blending option. I thus found out that you can use the “calculation effect” to imitate (to some grade) the blending. Can anyone explain me how to use the calculation effect in order to blend the grain plate into my footages?
I really want to use a “real” grain instead of recreating it in After Affects, but I didn’t quite understand how to use the calculation effect.Thank you very much!
Sorry, there were no replies found.
