  • Gradual Color change for text

Simple I am sure. I wish to have at the start my text white, as the cti moves on time line it gradually changes to black. I have tried many different interpolation, no luck, use the text track in face, no luck.

When ever I apply a new color to last keyframe , the first changes too.

I know this should be easy, but brain has stopped working arrgghh.

    Thanks

The best way to insure that interpolation takes place is to select that last keyframe (it turns red) when before changing color value.

Also, note that there are two color controls for text. One is in the Text window under fill tab. This one is selection based and not interpolatable. The other is in the Controls window under fill, but you need to select the text Face track in timeline. Hope this picture will help.

Also note that RGB color interpolation may not be what you expect. To fade yellow to black I would use opacity control on the text layer. Hope this helps
