    PPro 1.5, Matrox rtx.10 mode, P4 2GHz, 2 GB ram:

    With a reference monitor window ganged to the monitor and showing the waveform, I adjust the levels on a clip with the colour corrector effect settings. As I do so, rather than the waveform updating to show my changes, the reference monitor switches to composite video view. To get it back I have to select ‘show waveform’ after each tweak of the effect controls. It’s impossibly cumbersome. On previous versions of PPro the waveform remained visible and updated to show the changes (though there were other problems).

    try to start a project with the stock Adobe DV setting (no Matrox project setting) and see if the behavior continues. it’s been so long since I’ve used PPro 1.5 that I can’t remember what its quirks were…but I have no recollection of this one…

    If you don’t see it on the adobe DV project, I’d look at the Matrox end of things.

    Yes, I have a post up on the Matrox m’fr’s forum because it’s behaving properly in Adobe mode.
