I’m very much a novice, so laugh away. I have a 5 line text logo that I need to texture with a gradient. Dark at the bottom left and upper right (it turns out it’s 35 degrees). So I bring in my illustrator text and add an extrude nurbs. So far so good. The individual letters are animatable, that’s what I want. Now the part that has me stumped. I create a new texture and in the color channel I make a gradient texture. I make it just the way the style guide dictates. I go to apply to the type and it doesn’t act like it seems it should. My little texture ball icon looks correct, but when i put it on the nurb, it doesn’t lay on the type the way it should. I’m changing every option that I can, but for the life of me I can’t get the grad to work properly???? How should I be about doing this?

probably you are going to have to change the mapping of the texture (in the Texture tag) I’m guessing Flat will work for you.

I thought I had already messed with that, but I guess not.

    Thanks
