gradient on text in ae4
I want to give my text a gradient, but when I add a gradient overlay from layer styles, it interpolates the render over several lines of text, rather that doing each line individually.
So if I was to go from red to white, it would do it from top to bottom in the frame, rather than having the top of each line of text be white and the bottom be red.
I don’t see a button or option to change this.

I do not know a better way than making single-line text. Sorry
