I’m making a displacement map from my 3D scene. I’m trying to figure out how to do my surface settings or what shader to use.

I would like to have a gradient from Red to Green applied to the objects, but have the color value change, based on the angle of the polygon to the camera. I’ve done this in Lightwave, and I’m sure it’s just a matter of understanding Cinema… I’ve got something close working with the Fresnel, but it’s not “there” yet.

It’s nice to have a project to work on that forces you to learn more about a program. Cinema 4D is starting to feel less foreign to me. 🙂

I just tried the “Spectral” shader. It looks like it’s a bit closer to what I want. I doing a render now, and I’ll try it out tomorrow. I think I need to get some sleep now. zzzzzzzzz
