    Simple question. I hope.

I would like to get good video grabs. What is the best way? and cheapest? Do i need to get softwares for this? Can I just do it with FCP and Photoshop? Is there a trick? or just to export still and do some deinterlecing be enought?

    Thanks for taking the time.

Video grabs of…what? Web movies? Something on your computer monitor? or from another video source like VHS?

It really depends on what you need them for. The quickest way to do them would be to hit apple shift 4 and draw a box around the canvas or viewer (whichever you want to grab). It’ll take a screen shot of the selected box and call it picture 1 etc. This won’t give you as large an image as exporting the frames as jpgs or tiffs or psd’s, but it’s really quick.
