    Hi,

We are setting up an extra Danvinci suite with an old mac (CK8470Q6Z5J4) and want to install a graphic card (GPU) that can be trasfered to a PC later on.
Is that possible, or is the old supported cards (Q4000, Q4800 etc) configured to run on either PC or Mac.

i know my 4800 is a Mac version. Some people have flashed their PC versions over to mac to save some dollars…more than likely voiding a warranty.

Not sure, but i think most cards are either or, but not both.

I know the Lion and above will suport quite a lot of PC graphics cards but you dont get the boot screen so if it is a 2nd card that should be OK, if not probably not a good idea.
