    Hi All

I have a GT120 (GUI) and a FX4800 (GPU) which worked fine with v 7.12 of resolve. Having upgraded to 8 I now get the error message that the GT120 is being used for image processing and is not optimal. Both cards are installed with correct drivers and Cuda revision and show up in device manager. (I’ve tried both the recommended 3.2.17 cuda with the installer and also rolled to a newer version 4)

Running an 8 core tower with JMR blustor expander (GUI GT120 in expander and 4800 in slot 1 of the tower).

As a result I’m getting 8-10fps when before I was getting 23-25fps. It’s also prone to crashing out whenever I try anything heavy.

    Any suggestions?

    Cheers

Why don’t you try install the GT120 in slot 2 in the Mac Pro and connect the GUI monitor to the GT120.

Resolve v8 may not like the two graphics card in separate locations.

All sorted – thanks for the speedy response Dan. Worth noting that you can’ have any monitors attached to your GPU cards else they are not used.

    Cheers

    Jeff
