    Here is the scenario:
    1. Upgraded to Vegas 11 build 425 64 bit.
    2. Had a new video card installed to take advantage of Accelerated
    GPU. (Nvidia GTX570)
    3. Vegas 11 recognized the card and I set in the preferences to
    use it for processing.
    Here is the problem:

The video displayed in the preview window on the “preview auto” setting is dark. When I change it to “FULL Best” it is blown out and very grainy.

When I change the settings back to not using the GPU acceleration, the preview is good at both settings.

Obviously, I thought using the GPU accelertion was suppose to improve picture quality and performance, but it is having a negative affect.

Any ideas here? Does the Dynamic RAM Preview settings have any affect here. It is set a 200 with a max range listed as 7159MB

What do you have as an audio device selected? I have a Presonus Firestudio and if that is the devise, Vegas locks up, if I used Microsoft Mapper, it resolves that issue….may not work, but you can try it…
